Ed and Fran Gargiula, have been married 52 years and wear matching outfits every single day.
Grandson, Anthony Garguila, a singer from New York, shared photos of his grandparents in their colour co-ordinated ensembles to social media this week – and the response has been overwhelming.
Anthony (17) wrote: “My grandparents have been married for 52 years and they match outfits every day”.

The pictures, posted on Twitter, have so far been shared and liked over 1000,000 times.
The morning, after Anthony’s tweet blew up, he texted his grandparents to tell them: “You’re an internet sensation.”
While the couple have been married the better part of half a century, they’ve only been getting into the matching outfit groove for the last couple of years, Anthony told CNN.
It all started when they began square dancing several years ago, and decided to co-ordinate when they danced. After that, it just became… a thing.
Renewing wedding vows two years ago, naturally called for Fran and Ed to make a statement in matching outfits.
The spry couple text Anthony every day with to update him on the day’s latest sartorial pickings.
“I wake up to text messages saying, ‘Good morning! We hope you have a good day!’ – along with the “outfit of the day”,’ their grandson explained.
“It’s the cutest thing ever”.
