A primary school teacher has commemorated the last day of school in possibly the most adorable way ever.

Sha Ree Castlebury, who has been teaching little ones for five years in Oklahoma, decided to create a leaving present with a difference.

Donning a plain white sun dress, the enthusiastic first grade teacher encouraged her kids to doodle all over her outfit – leaving a lasting reminder of the class of 2015-16.

Taking to her Facebook page to post snaps of the dress – Castlebury quickly made headlines, with Buzzfeed catching up with the teacher to get her reaction.

“I had no idea my idea would ever leave my Facebook page when I was posting it,” she explained.

The kids had plenty of ideas for their teacher’s white dress

Castlebury says she now plans to make this an annual event – getting all first graders to decorate a new dress each year before they head off into the unknown of second year.

The dress concept is similar to the one Angelina Jolie used for her wedding to Brad Pitt – getting their children to decorate the back of it with their scribbles before she walked down the aisle.

How lovely is that?
