My friend does her grocery shopping with me and often buys something special and pops it into one of my bags when we put them in the car. But one day recently while we were in the supermarket, she put a bag of fruit in my trolley. It wasn’t until we were packing the bags into the car that she realised what she had done. She was so embarrassed I had paid for her gift!
