A thank you note from an 84-year-old has gone viral – thanks to a surprising twist at the end.
Although the letter starts out revealing how thankful the woman is for winning a radio, it soon takes a turn as she begins to describe her grouchy roommate in her old people’s home.
“God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your recent senior citizens luncheon,” she writes.
“I am 84-years-old and live at the country home for the aged.
“All my people are gone and it’s nice to know someone thinks of me.

“My roommate is 95 and always had her own radio but would never let me listen to it.
“The other day he radio fell and broke into a lot of pieces. It was awful. She asked if she could liten to mine and I said fuck you.
“Sincerely, Edna Johnston.”
