Nana vs Grandma

As I was tucking a very exhausted oaster Four into bed one night, he politely asked me to stay with him for a while next to his bed. I said, “okay dear, I’ll sit with you for two minutes.” But he was quick to cheekily protest, “Well Nana, do you know that Grandma sits with me for three minutes!”

Rhyme & reason

oiss Four was very excited to pay a visit to the nearby pond to see the eels I had told her about. She wouldn’t stop chattering the entire way there about how she couldn’t wait to feed them, and that they were going to “be our friends”. on arrival, however, she became quite confused. “oum,” she said, “Where are the seals?” oh, the disappointment.

Crunch time

I had a friend over for coffee as my daughter was making a peanut butter sandwich. My friend commented on how she really likes peanut butter, but is unable to eat it due to her allergies. My daughter stopped making her snack and stared at her for a while. Then, with a very confused look on her face, she asked, “Why don’t you just buy smooth?”
