Like many hard-working mums, Kerry Miles started putting money away for her daughter almost as soon as she was born.
But unlike most, who squirrel away savings so their kid can spend it on education or put it towards a house one day, Kerry has very specific ideas about what the money can be used for.
The beauty therapist has saved $30,000 so that her daughter can get plastic surgery.
“Bethaney says she’d never do it, but I always said that when I was a kid as well – never say never,” she says of her 12-year-old.
“I’ve got money put aside in case she ever changes her mind and wants to do it – if she wants a boob job, lipo, anything like that then I’ll pay for her to have it done.”

The 33-year-old mum, from Essex, says her daughter has a “nice nose and big lips” but in case she wants anything else altered – she’s happy to fork out for it.
Kerry first hit the headlines in 2010 for openly admitting she wanted to create a plastic “Barbie” look.
And after spending more than $160,000 on cosmetic procedures, the mum felt she was nearing her goal.
Speaking to British tabloid, The Sun, Kerry said: “Her dad and my parents think it’s too early for her to have surgery and that she’s beautiful enough as she is – my parents aren’t a fan of my look, they say I’ve ruined myself.”
“Of course I think Bethaney’s beautiful already,” she says, “But I know how much happier having surgery made me and I want her to have that opportunity.”
