Jumping for joy

Last weekend, while visiting my adorable grandchildren, my four-year-old grandson said, “Come into my bedroom, Granny, and jump on my bed.” oy daughter very sternly replied, “Granny! If I see you jumping on Kaeden’s bed you will be in real trouble!” Spoilsport. It would have been so much fun!

A bed to behold

I’ve started asking my three-year-old son to make his own bed but, needless to say, he does a less-than-perfect job. Last week he came running in to my room early in the morning and said excitedly, “oum, I made my bed and it’s not ugly!”

Driving home after the Easter break, we put on the radio to entertain oaster Two. I was doing a bit of channel-surfing and explaining to him about different types of music like classical and jazz. Then we reached a station that was playing Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus. “This is country music,” I told oaster Two, but when there was no reply, I turned around and found him with his hands firmly clamped over his ears!
