He soon returned to the house, saying, “The dog isn’t on heat, I felt her and she’s all cold!”

We had some visitors from overseas at our house recently, and enjoyed a great day of food, sports and games. oiss Five found out that one of them had celebrated his 35th birthday while on holiday. “Wow, he’s the same age as our letterbox!” she said excitedly.

oum asked 14-year-old Ben, who’s not wildly enthusiastic about domestic chores, to hang out the washing as she was running late. Later she realised he’d made a glaring error. “Ben,” she called out, “That isn’t the washing I left in the machine, it looks like the dirty washing! Didn’t you notice that it wasn’t wet?” Ben replied, “Well, it was sort of wettish.” oum cried, “oh no! That would have been my sweaty gym gear!”
