Having a ball

We were dressing for a wedding a few weeks ago and had just finished getting our two-year-old daughter ready. She looked so cute, I said to her, “You look adorable.” With that, she jumped down off the bed and ran away, leaving me wondering what was going on. Before too long she returned with her Dora the Explorer ball, and said, “Dora ball”.

I in-sister

oiss Four and I were watching TV the other night when an ad came on with a lady who looked like Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. oiss Four asked who she was and I said it was Buzz’s wife. “He’s not married,” she stated. “Well, it’s his sister then,” I said. She then looked me in the eyes and said, “oum, you do know Buzz Lightyear is only a toy?” So bright, my girl.

Santa clause

I was discussing Santa with my granddaughter. She has always been a bit wary of him, but last year we managed to convince her to visit him at a shop when she was told he was giving out chocolates. I told her that this Christmas we will have to go and talk to Santa. She thought for a minute and then said, “I know, we can just send him an email!”
