Master Four had just come home from his first day of preschool. We were chatting about his day and whether he had liked the lunch I made especially for him. He said, “Yes, but you put a rock in there again.” “A rock?” I asked, totally confused.
“Yes Mum, another rock.” I was so confused but he was adamant about it. Then he said, “Don’t worry, Mum. I just ate around it like you said to and left it in the box.” Laughing hard, I said, “Oh, you mean a stone from your plum!” “Yeah,” he replied casually, as if they were the same thing!
