I was down on my hands and knees helping dress all 17 of my four-year-old granddaughter’s Barbie dolls. Picking one up, I asked her, “What’s this one’s name?” “She’s called Rider,” came the reply. “Rider? That’s an unusual name. Why did you choose it?” I asked. “Because she came with a bike,” she said.
