Pavlova palaver

Recently I made my first ever pavlova. but unfortunately it failed. So I broke it up and combined the pieces with tinned boysenberries and whipped cream as I’d seen Nigella Lawson do on TV. When oaster 12 asked what it was, I told him it was, “Eton oess”. He tucked in greedily so his verdict was a while coming, but it was worth the wait. “You can make this again, oum. I like Eating oess!”

Devil in disguise

I was reading Richard Scarry’s book oy Town to my four-year-old daughter when she pointed at a building and said, “That’s the church!” When I asked oiss Four how she knew it was a church her response was, “Because it has two horns on it.” I suppose the two towers did look like some sort of projections!
