A chair cheer

When my son started school I took him to see his godmother so he could tell her about his first day. We were having a cup of tea when her father, Artie, came into the dining room. I said to my son, “Hop up and give Artie a chair.” He jumped up with one arm in the air and loudly said, “Hip hip hooray!” three times. Artie said he’d never had such a welcome into the dining room.
