As well as a relentless physical training regime, Joseph has also been working with a psychologist to mentally prime him for the championship fight.

The boxer has just become a dad for the first time. His new daughter Elizabeth Ah-Sue Sala Parker was born in November while the champ was training in Las Vegas. His baby mama is his childhood sweetheart, Laine Tavita.

Joseph also missed his big sister Elizabeth’s wedding while he was away training in Vegas. He’s made up for though by giving his new daughter her first name.

His family are Mormon.

And his mum Sala has dished the dirt. She told New Idea that as well as being a great athlete, her son can also sing and is pretty good on the dance floor.
