It’s going to be a wet weekend for many North Islanders this weekend, as showers take hold of northern and eastern regions on Saturday and Sunday.
Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Auckland and Wellington will avoid showers till Sunday however, and will get some sunny spells over the course of Saturday, with highs as much as 21.
Meanwhile the South Island will have a far sunnier weekend, with Invercargill, Queenstown and Dunedin set for fine weather on Saturday and Sunday, with highs reaching 21.
Nelson, Greymouth and Christchurch will still be fine, but with some cloud developing, and slightly cooler temperatures of around 19 degrees.
So if you’re heading out and about this weekend, it seems a safe bet to pack a brolly if you’re in the North Island, and a sun hat in the South!
Have a good one, from the team at Women’s Weekly.
