Richie McCaw, the film, is a rousing documentary which follows the legend’s final 365 days as the first All Black to captain the elite team to back-to-back World Cup wins.

Audiences will be treated to a never-before-seen intimate insight to the mind of the man who considered himself to simply be “an ordinary kid who loved playing the game of rugby and had the dream of becoming an All Black.”

“I’ve never been big on talking about myself but I hope that by sharing my story, people might be able to find something in it to help them achieve what they really want to,” McCaw says on making the film.

The official movie title will be revealed in coming weeks, but in the meantime fans are being encouraged to follow the journey online, and with the hashtag #richiemccawfilm.
