A baby boy has been abandoned on the doorstep of a home in south-west New South Wales.
Police said the baby was found outside a home in Griffith in a pink cloth bassinet after the doorbell was rung just before midnight, ABC news reports.
A note attached to the baby boy said he was born on February 19 at about 10am.
Police believe the mother is a teenager and have appealed for her to come forward. They have also said the baby appears to be healthy and uninjured.
