Nancy Reagan dies aged 94

Former US First Lady Nancy Reagan passed away yesterday at the age of 94.

The wife of the late Ronald Reagan died of congestive heart failure.

She will be buried next to her husband at his presidential library in Simi Valley, California.

Tributes have flowed in for a woman President Obama said “redefined” the role of First Lady.

“Without Nancy, there would have been no President Reagan,” long-time aide Michael Deaver said.

Mrs Reagan is survived by her two children, Patti Davis and Ronald Prescott Reagan, and her stepson Michael Reagan.
