Master chef Marco Pierre White’s explosive outburst about former co-host Matt Preston

He vowed 'on his mother’s grave' to 'get that man' over comments about his son.

British chef Marco Pierre White has sensationally revealed Matt Preston is the reason he chose to defect from MasterChef Australia to join rival show, Hell’s Kitchen Australia.

In an explosive outburst, Pierre White slammed his former co-host over comments about his son.

“The things he said about my son in the British press were disgraceful.

“No one should ever say that about someone else’s children. I will never forgive that man.”

Describing Preston as a “canary in the coalmine”, he ended the outburst by holding his hand out, saying, “with my hand on my mother’s grave I will get that man”.

He made the comments at Tasting Australia festival when he was asked why he moved to Hell’s Kitchen Australia. It’s the first time he’s spoken publicly about there being bad blood.

Pierre White’s anger is most likely the result of an interview Preston did with Australian radio show Kylie and Jackie O.

The chef’s son, Marco Pierre White Jr, was making headlines in the UK for allegedly having sex with another contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK. He also made many references to drug-taking on his SnapChat account.

Preston told Kylie and Jackie O: “I think it is that terrible thing when you have kids that go off the rails, how do you deal with it? I don’t know. I don’t think Marco has a solution, I don’t think anyone has a solution.”

Talking about Pierre White Jr’s appearance, he said: “Well anyone who has tattoos on their face they normally behave badly don’t they? They have kind of crossed through a barrier at that point.”

Preston also commented on Pierre White Snr’s role as a father:

“Well, he is a dad. I mean any dad would feel that whenever your kid goes off the rails the first thing is ‘what could I have done better?’ I think Marco is no different,” he concluded.
