Riki and Rebekah Haldane tied the knot on October 21, 2017 at the picturesque Mercure Leisure Lodge in Dunedin.
Three years after a brief encounter at Rebekah’s place of work, the couple were reintroduced by a mutual friend and sparks flew.

On Valentine’s Day 2014, Riki and Rebekah went for a walk on a beach in the Catlins that would change their lives forever.
Riki had hidden a ring in a nearby rock pool on the beach for Rebekah to find and when she discovered it, he popped the question.
“It was a very surprising and wonderful proposal”, says Rebekah.
The day went off without a hitch.
“We got everything we wanted and more, and couldn’t have asked for a better day”, says bride Rebekah.
The day was filled with special and unique touches including a fun photo booth and a gorgeous wedding cake made by Rebekah’s close friend.
The couples’ five children Jesse (17), Logan (15), Eli (6) Mila (4) and Nikau (3), were also all really involved in their parents’ big day – making it even more special for the couple.
“Our day was absolutely perfect”, says Rebekah.
