The writing’s been on the wall for this pair since they were both just 12 years old, when they dated for a few weeks at Tauranga Intermediate.
After a stint of long-distance friendship and a reunion at university in Dunedin, the pair became a couple – and the rest is history!
Hayley says she always knew they’d end up together again and four years ago, Michael proposed at the top of Mt Maunganui.

The couple married this summer at Tauranga’s Fountain Gardens.
