When ZM radio star Megan Sellers visited her West Auckland wedding venue the day before she was supposed to wed singer Andrew Papas, it was being pounded by torrential rain and gale-force winds in a violent storm.
“Everyone was trying to console me, but I was a bridezilla,” the brunette beauty tells Woman’s Day. “When you’re planning the happiest day of your life, you don’t expect a severe weather warning.”
However, the storm cleared on the day of the beautiful woodland ceremony, attended by Megan’s ZM co-stars Carl “Fletch” Fletcher” and Vaughan Smith, and the only drops of water came from Megan’s eyes as she struggled through her heart-felt, self-penned vows.
“I’m not a very mushy person, so to say those words in front of everyone was really hard,” she tells the magazine. “Everything turned to custard.”
