For many women picking a wedding dress is something they dedicate weeks – sometimes months – to.
It is, after all, probably the most iconic dress she will ever wear.
But how much do men remember about what their partner’s wore to say “I do” in?
It turns out, not all that much!
Cosmopolitan asked a handful of newlywed men to describe the wedding dress their wife wore – and almost none of them nailed the details.
From mistaking ivory for white (easy to do) through to describing the dress as looking like “melted chocolate” (meant as a compliment, we think), it seems men are more caught up in who’s wearing the dress, rather than the gown itself (awww).
“I’m looking at my best friend, the person I want to be with for the rest of my life, in one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve ever seen, but apparently I don’t remember every detail of it,” one poor guy admitted.
