Just months after announcing his engagement to Cherry Seaborn, Ed Sheeran has been spotted wearing what appears to be a wedding ring. Could this mean the couple have already slinked off and married in secret?
The Thinking Out Loud singer was seen sporting a simple silver band on his ring finger while performing in London.
Fans were quick to spot the ring, and took to Instagram to speculate, but Sheeran has shut down the rumours, telling Sky News at Wednesday’s Brit Awards, “It’s an engagement ring.”
“I feel like its good to both do things,” he added.
The question is, do we believe him?
Ed confirmed his engagement to Cherry in January, and shared the happy news on Instagram.
“We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well,” he added”.
The couple first met high school, with Ed admitting he’d had a crush on Cherry during their years together at Thomas Mills High School in Framingham, Suffolk.
They took a break from their respective careers in 2016 to spend more time together.
And now they’re set to become husband and wife… if they aren’t already?
