Kayla decided to pretend to her husband Justin Bogh that she’d brought a coyote into their family by telling him she thought it was a stray dog that needed some help. With the help of a photo-shop savvy accomplice the American mother-of-one managed to convince her gullible hubby that that the creature was not only in their house, snuggling up next to their toddler on the lounge.

The following texts, which Kayla shared on her Facebook, show the hilarity that ensued…

Commenting on the saga to blog Scary Mommy Kayla says that playing trick on one another is nothing new for her and her husband.

“This is how our relationship has been from day one. We are both very big pranksters and have a very wide sense of humour,” she explains. “We respect and love each other to the ends of the earth. We just have a different way of loving each other than most.”

Kayla said when all is said and done her husband is a “good sport” and won’t mind anyone having a little chuckle at his expense.
