On the motorway to Kaiapoi, Louise spotted her husband-to-be in a car driving alongside hers.
She thought he was so good-looking that she signalled to him for his phone number, which he yelled out the window! A few years later, the pair celebrated their love among family and friends at the Pemberton Function Centre in Christchurch.

A butterfly appeared during their vows and fluttered nearby until Louise finished speaking, and they like to think this means her father (who has passed) was present on their special day.
The couple still find themselves wishing they could relive it all over again.
