A devoted husband has put together a 1950s style living room in his wife’s hospital ward, to help her remember happier times.

George Drummond, 70, has decorated the room with period wallpaper, black and white photographs and racks of vinyl, so that his wife Elaine (who suffered with Alzheimer’s) could feel happy and secure.
