For this mug decorating craft, you will need:
Coffee mugs
Nail polish remover – the acetone kind is best
Cotton pads or balls
Disposable container
Nail polish
Toothpicks
Paper towels

Remove any labels or stickers from your mugs and wash and dry well. To ensure the outside is totally clean, wipe with a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover.

Fill your disposable dish to two-thirds full with hot – but not boiling – water. Slowly drip nail polish into the water, allowing it spread out.

You can also use a toothpick to swirl the colour around.

Dip the mug into the water, rolling it so that the outside is coated evenly.

Lift the mug out and set it aside on a piece of paper towel to dry completely. Use a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover to take off any polish on the bottom
or the inside of the mug.
