Meryl Streep is on the move. As noticed by Curbed, the multi-Oscar-winning actress has put her New York penthouse apartment on the market.
Naturally, the open-plan space is absolutely stunning. Complete with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the star of the show is the terrace with incredible views of the Big Apple.
Decorated with the helping hand of her sculptor husband Donald Gummer, the huge apartment is filled with an impressive array of art and antiques.
Bought in 2006 for roughly NZD$15.4 million, the Streep-Gummers residence is now for sale for approximately NZD$38.5 million.
While they have waved goodbye to Manhattan for now, the couple still have property on the East Coast with their primary home (a casual 90 acre estate) located 160km north in Salisbury, Connecticut.
For any West Coast trips they also now have a 1950s property in Pasadena, California which they purchased late last year.

The four bedroom property is located in the trendy Tribeca neighborhood.
The floor-to-ceiling windows make it beautifully light throughout.
The minimalist kitchen is centered around a wooden island with a butcher block top.
The open plan living area has numerous spots for relaxing.
Including the cosy TV den area.
A huge pale green chandelier makes a statement in the impressive dining room.
Turquoise and mustard cushions bring a pop of colour to the otherwise muted palette.
The master bedroom comes complete with a huge skylight.
While the others are all uniquely decorated with a mix of antiques and art.
Each of the four bedrooms has it’s own ensuite.
One has a walk in wardrobe to make Cher Horowitz jealous.
But it’s the master bathroom that’s a Pinterest dream. We love the roll top tub, marble sink and jungle of plants.
A wide terrace wraps three sides of the apartment.
And there’s plenty of spots to kick back and enjoy the views.
Including sweeping vistas of the city skyline and the Hudson River.
