Fancy staying in a house previously occupied by artists, actresses and award winners?

This property in Accord, New York state, formerly belonged to Mary Poppins actress Julie Andrews, though it was actually created for famed choreographer Eugene Loring and his chef partner.

Complete with a dance studio, industrial kitchen, sumptuous bath tub and woodland views from almost every room, this pad is the perfect nature retreat.

Designed by architect Tom Pritchard, “every detail has been designed with great care and attention,” reads the advert on air bnb.

“It’s a quirky beauty, with complexities that need patience to figure out, and at 35 years old in a wild location where the weather seasonally goes between extremes, from time to time things can require TLC. The house therefore isn’t suitable for those seeking an effortless hotel type experience. It rewards those amply who bring a spirit of exploration, generosity and wonder.”

Dubbed The Rubber House, this property is also used for artist’s retreats as well as a normal holiday property.
