Craft: Paper Flowers

These “forever flowers” are simple to make and create a pretty display when grouped in a vase or glued to a canvas. Layer different sized cupcake cases to create a fuller looking flower.

What you’ll need

  • Cupcake cases

  • Glue stick

  • Pipe cleaners

  • Hot-glue gun

  • Buttons

Take the cupcake cases and fold them in half, then in quarters.

1. Take four cupcake cases and fold them in half, then in quarters.

2. Take a folded cupcake case and run glue along one edge. Press another case into the glue and hold for a few seconds until it bonds.

3. Repeat with the other cases to make a circle shape. You may have to jiggle the cases a bit to get a perfect circle.

4. Place a small dot of hot glue in the centre of the cases and press a button into it. Allow to dry.

Hot glue a pipe cleaner to the back to create the stem.

5. Flip the flower over and hot glue a pipe cleaner to the middle to create the stem.
