Christmas invitation by Pauline McArdle

These beautiful invitations could be used for any kind of Christmas occasion.

What you need

  • Paper trimmer

  • White, purple, silver and black card

  • Black inkpad

  • Paper crimper

  • Stamps of your choice

  • Glue

  • Foam dimensionals – for 3D effect

  • Stick-on rhinestones

  1. Fold A5 piece of white card in half.

  2. Glue a 14.4cm x 10cm piece of purple card onto the front of the white card, leaving an even white border.

  3. Stamp your message in black ink on the bottom right corner of a 13.4cm x 9cm piece of white card. Glue

the white card onto the purple card, leaving a 5mm border all round.

  1. Cut a 13.4cm x 4cm strip of the silver card. Cut a 15cm x 3cm strip of the black card and crimp. Glue the black card onto the silver strip and attach to the main card across the centre of the stamped layer.

  2. Stamp desired image in black ink on a 6.5cm x 7.5cm piece of white card. Glue and mount onto a piece of purple card, remembering to leave a 2mm border.

  3. Attach to front left-hand side of the card with foam stickers. Finish off with the addition of three rhinestones to the stamped image. Use a toothpick to easily pick up and position the stones.
