Jamaican jerk brisket burger

Everyone loves a burger, and this version using Jamaican Jerk BBQ Brisket patties is sure to be a winner any night of the week!

PREP TIME 5-10 MINS COOK TIME 25 MINS SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS

• 4 Angel Bay Jamaican Jerk BBQ Brisket patties

• ¼ cup tomato sauce

• ¼ cup mayonnaise

• 8 slices Farmland thin sliced streaky bacon

• 4 burger buns, sliced open

• ½ cup gherkins, drained

• 1 large tomato, thinly sliced

METHOD

  1. In a small bowl, stir tomato sauce and mayonnaise together until well combined. Set aside.

  2. Preheat oven to 200°C. Line 3 baking trays with baking paper.

  3. Place Angel Bay patties on first tray. Cook from frozen for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  4. Place bacon on second tray, baking for 15-20 minutes or until cooked and crispy. Remove from oven.

  5. Place buns on third baking tray and pop in oven for 5 minutes. Remove buns and patty tray (patties should be in for a total of 25 minutes).

  6. Slather buns with the mayonnaise mixture.

  7. To build the burgers, add gherkins, sliced tomato, bacon and a patty to each. Top with a burger bun.
