Taking care of young skin

Does foundation help make acne and freckles a bit less visible? I’m only 11, but I don’t like the way my body and face look. Also, should I be using moisturiser everyday?

Yes, you should definitely be using a light moisturiser on your skin. Nivea does a well priced tinted one that would help even out your skin tone. You should also clean your face day and night with a gentle cleanser. Personally I think 11 is a bit young to be using foundation but I guess that’s between you and your mum.

Freckles aren’t ugly – lots of gorgeous models I’ve worked with have them. And pimples unfortunately are part of hormonal changes. The best things are gentle and effective products – Innoxa, Nivea, Clean & Clear and Garnier all do great young ranges – and a healthy diet with lots of fish, lean meat, fruit, veges, grains, olive and flaxseed oils and water. But you know what the best thing of all is confidence. Look after yourself and focus on your good features instead of getting all hung up on the bad ones.
