I’m getting a lot of requests for repeat recipes from readers who have lost or can’t find the pull-out we did last year. So for the next few weeks, I’ll run my top five recipes for those who can’t find them – or maybe for new readers or those who would like to have a go at making them for the first time. The first one is the one I really want everyone to start making because it’s so delicious and fantastic for your hands, plus it’s really easy. It’s my liquid handwash, which leaves hands beautifully smooth.
LIQUID HANDWASH250ml boiling water2 tbsp grated Sunlight soap 2 tsp glycerine or glycerol (from the chemist or supermarket)2 tsp rosewater (from chemists or specialty food stores)
oelt the grated soap in the boiling water, then stir in the glycerine and rosewater. Pour the mixture into a soap dispenser while it’s still warm and it will set, ending up with a jelly-like texture. Enjoy!
