Cuticle removers

Do I need to use a special cream to remove cuticles on my nails?

The cuticle is the thin tissue that grows from the finger to overlap the nail plate and form a rim around the base of the nail. The purpose of cuticle creams and lotions is to soften cuticles enough so that you can easily push them back off the nail plate to enhance the appearance of your nails.

You don’t need anything fancy though – petroleum jelly, olive or baby oil, or thick hand cream are all just as effective as any cuticle products you can buy.
