It’s good to get creative. Here are five DIY projects that take next to no time to create – and are super cheap too.

Make your own coffee candles

Fill small bowls with coffee beans, then nestle tea lights into them. When they burn the beans will heat up and smell delicious. Perfect for the kitchen. Via Make Something Mondays.

Create your own wall art

Take some old CDs, snip them into random segments, then superglue them onto a corkboard or within a frame. Et voila, your very own mini piece of wall art. Via Homesthetics.

Create a paint sample calendar

Reuse the paint sample papers you get from the DIY store by turning them into a cool calendar you can mount on the wall. All you need is a large frame, the paint sample papers and a dry marker to write over the top of the glass. And the bonus is you can reuse this again and again. Via DIY Ready.

Decorate a pill bottle to keep small items

Reuse old pill bottles by painting or covering them in decorative paper – then use it to store small items in your bag that easily get lost, ie. Kirby grips, earrings and keys. Via I heart organising.

Create a beautiful homemade tray

Buy some cheap confetti, a wooden frame or plain tray and cover the tray with superglue. Then simply sprinkle the confetti all over it to create a girly pink tray that’s totally unique. Via Delineate your Dwelling
