The new mum reveals she didn't put pressure on herself to lose her baby weight - she just began her pre-baby workout routine.

Khloé Kardashian gave birth to her first child – a beautiful baby girl – three months ago, and is very obviously smitten with her daughter True Thompson.

However, like a lot of mums, the reality star has admitted that while she loves being a mother, she enjoys exercise as it’s ‘something she does for herself’. Her workouts seem to be paying off for her physically and mentally.

Khloe revealed via her app that she has seen some impressive weight loss results, despite the fact she didn’t set out to lose weight quickly after giving birth.

“After I had True, I didn’t put any pressure on myself to lose the baby weight,” Khloé revealed.

“I just wanted to get back to my regular routine from before I got pregnant, which was working out five to six times a week. True turned three months old on July 12. I honestly didn’t give myself a number that I wanted to lose by this time, especially since I wasn’t able to work out for the first six weeks. But, since then, I’ve lost 33 pounds (roughly 15kg).”

Khloé explained: “I’m chalking this up to the combination of breastfeeding and being very active during and after my pregnancy. I never compare myself to other women as every woman has their own journey. Staying healthy and active is something that’s very important to me. Exercise is something I’ve always used to maintain my sanity and relieve stress. And, now that I have a baby, I still want to keep something that’s my time, my space, something I’m doing for myself.”

After welcoming her first child with Tristan Thompson in April, Khloé has been working really hard in the gym, and fans are noticing how great she looks. But it seems like Khloé isn’t really looking for our approval.

“I truly dislike when people report I’ve lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short amount of time or when people claim I’m doing these ridiculous diets. It’s really setting the wrong tone. I believe in making lifestyle changes when it comes to my food,” she wrote via Twitter in a short rant on June 18.

She added, “Dieting is great, but dieting doesn’t typically create long lasting results. I also believe that working out is so incredibly healthy and should be done to each individual’s own rhythm of life. There’s no one size fits all when health and fitness.” Khloé concluded, “To you out there, don’t give up! Everyday is a new day to find your rhythm.”

It’s only been a short while since Khloé started working out again, but she’s already making progress and she took to Snapchat late last month to give fans an update about her journey so far.

“Five weeks after baby. Feeling good,” she said. “My muscles are still under there [her belly]. Gotta tighten all up, gotta get rid of this part,” she continued, motioning to her famous Kardashian booty. “This part and my thighs but we’re working on it.”

Khloé has been very open with her fans about her weight loss journey so far and she’s been sharing regular updates. “I’ve literally been counting down the days,” the new mum wrote on her app about returning to the gym.

“I’m ready to start getting my body back and feeling mentally clear again.”

“It is a struggle getting back into the groove of working out. Mentally I’m strong, but physically, it’s just not the same,” she told her fans on the day of her first workout. “I’m exhausted, but it feels so good to finally sweat again and feel like I’m evolving and doing something progressive for my body and my mind.”

Even though she couldn’t wait to hit the gym, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star admitted that her body was sore after her first few workouts — but she pushed through the pain.

“I woke up hurting, but [it’s] the best thing ever,” she said on social media. Never one to hold back, the reality star explained to her fans, “My ass and thighs are so big now that I am now wearing my swimsuit on the bottom, so I hope it sweats some of it off.”

Khloé also told fans that exercising on a schedule can be challenging now that she’s breastfeeding. “It’s a struggle to fit in working out between feedings. No two days are the same,” she said. “True is so great, but still, I can’t predict if she’s going to sleep for the full two hours or if she’s hungry.”

We think as long as Khloé feels great, then that’s the important thing!
