Revise your thinking and feel fabulous

With 70 per cent of women getting to the end of the week exhausted, only to start all over again, many of us are trying hard to fit everything in. So much so, it’s causing us to rush. Everywhere.

This is a pattern common to many of us. However, patterns in our life generate thought patterns to match. When we’re tired, we tell ourselves we’re always tired. When we’re late, we tell ourselves we are always late.

These stories we tell ourselves are valid. But they soon become a cycle that is hard to unravel. So what happens? The brain recognises a thought as similar to an instruction.

Tell yourself you are tired, busy, stressed, frustrated and your brain will believe this to be true by creating a hardwired, neural default loop.

When you change your inner dialogue and your stories, it’s astounding how different you can feel. So what will your new stories be?

Create a new story for your life or different areas of your life, and write them down. Keep it short, like these examples below:

-“I am healthy and energised”

-“I manage my money well”

-“My relationship is loving”

For each one, create a list of what you need to change to make that story true. It might be a long list, but that’s okay – there’s no rush! This is the beginning of a beautiful change.
