Dancing With The Stars alum Julianne is always in great shape, thanks to her rigorous dancing schedule. But in the new issue of Shape magazine, the star gets candid about her other diet and fitness tips.
Surprisingly, Julianne’s number one essential is sleep! She revealed she’s “miserable” when she doesn’t get enough of it.
“I get cloudy, my eyes hurt, and I have to take a nap. But when I’m well-rested, I am rockin!” she told Shape.
Julianne says she likes to get at least eight hours a night – and when she wakes up, it’s straight into a healthy breakfast and then a morning workout.
“Protein helps me begin my day in a healthy way. It carries me all the way through,” she said.
Her favourite breakfast dish is a protein-packed “egg-white omelette” or a “scramble” with kale, spinach and other vegetables.
And for her workout, Julianne revealed she likes to “shock” her body by trying out different things, whether it’s a session with her personal trainer or a class with celeb-fave fitness guru Tracy Anderson.
