Health news: Reducing blood pressure

High blood pressure? Try gazpacho soup. Scientists from the University of Barcelona say the cold tomato soup dish is rich in antioxidants, which could help relax blood vessels and reduce hypertension.

In a study involving 4000 adults with high blood pressure, those who regularly consumed the soup had lower blood pressure than those who did not.

It was also linked to a 27% lower risk of developing the condition in the first place.
