US scientists have developed a simple video game that can dramatically rejuvenate the brains of elderly people.
The game, which involves using a joystick to navigate along a road while responding to various signs that pop up along the way, helped to improve the memory and attention span of the pensioners who used it for 12 hours over the course of a month.
It also improved their ability to multitask, and some of the benefits were still seen six months later.
