A drink high in greens, bitter herbs, spices and vegetables such as beetroot, carrots, broccoli and celery will detoxify the skin from the inside out.

To reduce breakouts, include foods such as berries, fennel, broccoli and dark leafy greens. Low-sugar condiments such as bitter herbs, cayenne pepper, lemon, ginger and turmeric fight acne before it surfaces on the skin. And cooling vegetables such as cucumber, celery, courgette and beetroot hydrate and detoxify the skin, thus calming down inflammation associated with pimples.
