For women going through chemotherapy, it can be pretty difficult to feel feminine.
When beauty blogger Nadina Loana’s mum started going through treatment for cancer, she lost her hair, eyelashes and eyebrows as a result. It also made her skin extra sensitive, and unable to deal with a lot of products used by make up artists.
That’s why Nadina decided she wanted to make a beauty tutorial that was suitable for chemotherapy patients – that would not only make them feel gorgeous again – but also wouldn’t irritate their skin.
Using careful preparation with moisturiser and serum, false eyelashes and an array of tried and tested make up products, Nadina transformed her mum into a glowing picture of health.
Nadina tells those thinking of replicating this look that the brows are super important to framing the face, and when applying the fake lashes, precision is required to ensure they aren’t uncomfortable.
