Beauty and the Beast, Stranger Things and the Fast & Furious casts were just some of the big winners from today’s MTV Movie and TV Awards, which handed out coveted Golden Popcorn trophies to a number of stars from the big screen and the silver screen.
Emma Watson had a victorious night, taking home Best Actor in a Movie for her turn as Belle, while the film as a whole also nabbed Movie of the Year.
Stranger Things was named Show of the Year, while its breakout star Millie Bobby Brown also took home the award for Best Actor in a Show.
Hidden Figures continued its awards season presence with the trophy for Best Fight Against the System, while its star Taraji P. Henson also won for Best Hero.
The coveted Best Kiss award this year went to Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome for their touching teenage romance depicted in Best Picture Oscar winner Moonlight.
