It’s not a style choice many would make during awards season, but Lorde (real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor) and Emma both looked stunning in their sleek ensembles!
Lorde, who was nominated for Best Original Song for her Hunger Games track ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’, chose an all-black outfit from Narciso Rodriguez. Her high-waisted wide-leg trousers were paired with a simple crop top, a crisp blazer and a glittering diamond necklace from Neil Lane.
Emma, 26, also wowed in a Lanvin design featuring a strapless beaded bodice, fitted black pants and trailing black sash.
The actress, nominated for her supporting role in the film Birdman, attended the event without boyfriend Andrew Garfield by her side.
While both Lorde and Emma lost out on their respective Golden Globes, at least their red carpet style is a winner!
