We are weeks away from New Zealand Fashion Week. What’s it like in your workroom at the moment?

Chaos!

You have five words or less – describe what the inspiration is behind the collection you are showing.

70’s Glam: Colour and sparkles.

What can we look forward to seeing at your show this year, can you give us any hints as to what we’ll see walk down the runway? Any tricks up your sleeve?

This year Knuefermann will present an exciting new collection of the ultimate street must haves, through to beautiful summer day and party wear. Get ready for colour, prints and dreamy silhouettes! The signature sexy styling TK is known for is making a comeback on the catwalk this year and will present a ready-to-wear show that will leave you wanting to toss out your old wardrobe and start afresh.

What is your NZFW go-to outfit style for the week?

Our lightweight merino cashmere Tux pant and striped Alek shirt to look fresh even when you’re not…

What are your beauty or wellbeing tips for surviving one of the busiest weeks in the year?

Copious cuddles with bubs, wine with friends, Mac make up and Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry to get ready for the day ahead!

How big of an undertaking is a show at NZFW? How long have you been working on your showcase?

The crew and I will have worked intensely for two months to get the new collection together – it’s exciting and energising despite the craziness.

Is there a soundtrack you are listening to, to motivate the team?

I am now officially obsessed with Jamie Webster Haines who is going to dj on stage for us at Fashion Week – she’s going to take us on a journey!

Do you have any pre-show rituals to get you ready?

Putting on something that makes you feel beautiful and listening to my favourite tracks as I tick off the ‘to do’ list…. And maybe a cold Peroni to refresh!

How do you plan to unwind once it’s all over?

Soaking up some sun with my baby boy and hubby at the French Markets! We’re going back to basics – food, wine, friends and sunshine.
