The red carpet for the Emmy Awards is always a star-studded affair, where both up-and-coming actresses eager to prove themselves in the style stakes and seasoned professionals come together to celebrate their industry.
From Tessa Thompsons’ metallic rainbow pleat dress by Rosie Assoulin to Susan Sarandon’s sophisticated off-the-shoulder dress by Zac Posen, there was a full spectrum of gorgeous gowns to ogle.
But the glamour didn’t stop there this week. Perhaps spurred on by New York Fashion Week (NYFW) last week, a number of stars stepped out in attention-grabbing ensembles fit for the runway.
Julianne Moore shone in a dazzling floor-length dress by fashion designer, producer and friend Tom Ford, who has just shown a heavily-sequined collection at NYFW.
At the same time, songstress and fashion designer Rihanna stepped out in a joyful purple Molly Goddard dress to promote her new makeup line, just days after her spectacular show for Fenty x Puma at NYFW.
