Natural fashion colours for winter

Stand out in the crowd with winter's opulent maroons, greens and blues mixed with a hint of 1970's camel, grey and mustard tones. Camels and greys should be accessorised with rich hues, and natural-colored fur trims will add to the "wow" factor. The final touches are the shoes and bag - stay clear of black and go for greys and browns.
  • A high-quality silk scarf is a must-have investment you will keep forever. It will suit any outfit.

  • Classic wide-leg pants are always a winter favourite. A typically masculine hound’s-tooth pattern looks great with softer, feminine textures such as velvet, lace or floral

  • Slim belts are good for petite body shapes and should be worn on the waist to give the wearer shape.

A wide belt should sit low on the hip to make the most of feminine curves.

  • Look for garments that can be worn in different ways to maximise your looks. Cardis with removable fur collars allow you to dress up or down. Wear the faux fur in the evenings over a black dress, and on the weekends remove it and wear with jeans and a T-shirt’

  • Camel is a chic neutral that is the perfect feminine alternative to black. Wear camel in both day and evening to give your ensemble a classic but current look. Make sure you select the right camel tone for your complexion. Fair-skinned people should opt for a darker camel with a cooler base, and those with olive skin should wear warmer camel tones with more of a peach or red base. The best time to select a camel garment is when you have no makeup on. Hold the garment to your face in the mirror – the correct tone will give you a lift and the wrong tone will wash you out. If you are unsure, get a friend to give you an honest opinion

  • Belts should not be solely seen as something to hold your trousers up – they can take an outfit from average to stunning. A belt is a border for colours and will create a transition from one colour to the next, pulling the overall look together
