Leopard prints are turning up on everything from shoes to umbrellas, and keeping seasonally on-trend can be inexpensive. on the other side of the spectrum, florals are back, which is great news for those of us who love feeling pretty! Animal print:

  • The trick to wearing animal prints successfully lies in moderation. Your friends and family might find it a bit much if you cover yourself in spots from head to toe!

  • Animal prints reappear every few seasons, so it is worth buying a few investment items which will take you the distance and work with your existing wardrobe.

  • Don’t forget to express your style through animal print. You may want to go for a classic look, with a bold red lip and a black/leopard print ensemble. Those with alternative tastes may want to mix their animal print with bright colours like hot pink or lime green for a ‘punk’ feel. Mr you may just want to spruce up your existing wardrobe with a few accessories like clutches or heels. Whatever the case, use animal print to best represent your unique style.

  • Don’t go for real fur – not only is it cruel to kill an animal, but in many cases synthetic furs are made so well you won’t be able to tell the difference. Save an animal, save yourself some cash!

Florals:

  • It’s sometimes hard to know how to wear florals. If you’re small, you can become overwhelmed by big patterns, but if you’ve got height on your side, the bolder the better. These days it’s quite acceptable to mix and match your prints – even with items such as bags and shoes

  • Like animal print, florals do not work if worn head-to-toe. A perfect ensemble would be a statement floral dress with a pair of plain sandals or ballet flats, toped with a denim or leather jacket

  • Don’t limit yourself to wearing floral in summer – worn over black tights and underneath a blazer florals can be worn throughout the year
